Virginia Conversations: The Final Debate

On this edition of Virginia Conversations, we check in on the race for Governor.  How did Republican Ken Cuccinelli and Democrat Terry McAuliffe fare in their last debate of the campaign?  We’ll hear from two journalists covering the candidates to get their take on how they did… as well as give Libertarian candidate Robert Sarvis an opportunity to respond to few of the debate questions.  Join the political round table with host May-Lily Lee.

I think Robert Sarvis nailed it when he chided Ms. Davis and Mr. Shapiro for failing to cover issues-based campaigns. They were backed right into a corner and were unable to come out of it without making up excuses for their poor coverage of campaigns.

I’m disappointed by Jeff Shappiro, when Mr. Sarvis commented on having substance to campaign, he excused it by saying campaigns are “some form of entertainment” and not dinner conversation at Oxford.

    The substance is what matters.
